(Nasdaq: LAVA), a provider of semiconductor design software, today announced the availability of FineSim® SPICE, a circuit simulator that dramatically speeds time to results for simulation and analysis while maintaining the accuracy of leading SPICE simulators. Based on advanced algorithms, FineSim SPICE can be parallelized over multiple CPUs for linear speedup and higher capacity. By providing increased speed and capacity while maintaining full SPICE accuracy, FineSim SPICE allows designers to simulate advanced circuits, such as PLLs, ADCs, DACs and gigahertz SERDES, that they previously would not even attempt using slower traditional SPICE simulators.
