Body:My recommendation is to use a PC Spice program -the best one for being both professional and user-friendly is Micro-Cap. You can get a free demo version that is only circuit size limited. You will need an intel Mac with Boot camp or Parallels. As far as Spice programs for the Mac goes-they are very limited.

Body:Googling for 'macos' and 'spice' will find several versions of spice available for Macs of varying ages, qualities, and prices. I maintain MacSpice (free for non-commercial use) and for the last couple of years have published frequent updates on the MacSpice homepage. The changes are listed in the release notes. The current version is a Carbon application and requires MacOS 8.6 or later, but the last non-carbon version is also available. I normally acknowledge bug reports within a day, and aim to resolve problems and publish an update within a week. Charles.

Body:I really appreciate any information that I can get on simulation applications for the Mac, free or not so free. My problem has always been that when I get the information, I have no idea as to how old it is and many times in downloading or trying to download, I find out that the software is no longer available and hasn't been in years. For instance, trying to get Spice with Nutmeg from umich. This is one task, I never succeeded accomplishing. I wish all information was time stamped somewhere in it.
